BGTA (BOMBAY GOODS TRANSPORT ASSOCIATION) is a premier Association of Goods Transporters in Western Region of India having its membership strength of 1350 out of which 45 are Life Members. BGTA was established in the year 1949. It is affiliated to its parent body namely All India Motor Transport Congress, New Delhi.
Now entering its 61 years, BGTA celebrated its Golden Jubilee in 1999. The Association has had a rich history and has been presided over by innumerable luminaries from goods transport industry in the past. The Association has defined its prime objective as “to protect, encourage and promote goods transport business” and to undertake all such direct and indirect activities in the furtherance of the objectives of the Association.
